well i have become a regular at the post office these last few weeks...collecting some amazing packages from wonderful friends...
this week from Marianne.. the most wonderful parcel of treasures...a beautiful book for my girls..all the illustrations are made of paper, some crochet doilies which i love and look forward to using in my work, some fantastic postcards of Mariannes 'Small people' series and a huge pack of found papers that Marianne saved especially for me..lots of trees and mushrooms and other beauties...
from Amisha a gorgeous market bag and some homemade soaps...i love the strong colours and pattern of the bag and the soap smells wonderful...
And this morning i recieved this parcel from Gracia... after my name was picked out of a hat i won this beautiful red fox and companion and what a beauty she is!!!! She arrived a some other goodies including some exhibition cards and stamps...
THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH for your generosity, kindness and friendships...i treasure them all!!!
Im not sure if you all know, but our weekend here starts on a friday (or thursday eve :)) and this weekend we are going camping..the heatwave is beginning to ease off just in time for perfect camping weather...five families of great friends leave tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn to make the most of the two days...a joint list has been made..sunscreen, hats, tents, inflateable boats, mosquito repellent, backgammon, darbukot, torches, watermelon.. are just some of the items on the four page list...
this is our personal list so that i dont forget to pack anything...but looking at it now, i forgot to write down sketchbook... we have some celebrating to do... approaching birthdays, anniversaries, new jobs... so there will be a few bottles of wine too!!!
