We came home yesterday from the most fabulous weekend!!! Two days of laughter, fun, music, dancing, swimming and eating..the weather was perfect on the first day, the campsite wasnt too crowded, the mosquitoes were forgiving, the evening air was wonderful...

stopping off on the 2 hour journey up north to eat breakfast..

nearly there and a view to jordan..

tents are pitched..

Toasts were made, new talents were discovered and one of our friends began singing and playing the darbuka...everyone was dancing (except me) and we had a great night talking when the children eventually went to sleep!!!

we came home exhausted yesterday evening but smiling and i still am!!!

i am also the one who doesn't dance, your trip looks and sounds idyllic. i am still hoping to get a few days away this year, even if it's just down to Mr P's mum's, it's still nice to be 'elsewhere' with that holiday feeling, new sounds, smells, good people.

Ha ha, Lucy is sitting beside me, gazing up lovingly, with a huge lump of brocolli hanging out the side of her mouth like a cigar. Oh, and speaking of cigars, I keep meaning to leave a jokey comment about your lovely illustrations on the cigar box lids, something along the lines of this new art being very bad for your health and how I can't imagine you sitting there in the sun smoking 40 cigars a day so that you can collage and draw later on!
