Really like the delicacy of these drawings, those building blocks seem so light and airy and yet they make a city, an ephemeral one that might be taken up by the wind and then gently placed down somewhere else. And am in love with your sad angel, that collage is so beautifully put together. There is an air of displacement and loss and memories and longing, of searching for one’s place in the world (do angels have a fixed abode?) And hope to, funnily enough I found that in the letter A, the first letter of the alphabet, the beginning of speech and writing. So glad I came and looked here (from Uschi).
