For the last few days i have been finding it hard to get my ideas down on paper... my mind is whizzing with potential artworks, inspirations and thoughts but my hands are not co-operating. I am finding this a little unsettling and frustrating. I am putting this time down to 'changes in the weather' and trying to go with the flow... i am really enjoying small everyday details and moments of beauty...
also helping is writing lists, brainstorming words, ideas and objects, collections of images - the top image is made up of photographs of a gift from Marianne - i love the simplicity of the paper, beautiful text and the string it was bound in...

brown, tea, watercolour paper, nature finds, breezes, collage, neutrals, textures, shadows, quiet, reading, ink, watching films with my husband, pattern, photography, vintage wallpaper, post, good friends, magazines, typography, tidying up and throwing out, pink, journals, decoration, creating corners of our home, found papers, ceramics, my family, creative collaborations, chilled fruit, green, travel, pods, flea markets and their stories, layers, hands, documentation, turquoise...

don't worry. you'll soon be back into your groove : ) weather does funny things to us all. you certainly sound inspired so it's only a matter of time before it flows to the fingertips!
