Last week we were in Tel Aviv...and yesterday a family celebration took us to Jerusalem also 30 minutes away from where we live in the other direction...i was excited to take lots of pictures of this amazing city...but it was unbearably hot as it has been all week over here and i just didnt have the energy...

    I agree with uschi, everytime you show us pictures of the country I am tempted to travel, to see the world. What an amazing view (it does look very hot though, please send some sunshine to UK). Have a wonderful weekend!

    the golden dome is just amazing.

    it looks very hot indeed.
    fortunately this year we are having a wonderful pleasant summer so far, around 25 centigrade. feels like spring but I'm not sure if it is going to last.

    The Dome of the Rock picture reminds me of my trip to Jerusalem in 2005. I do have a similar shot taken from the Mount of Olives.
    Wish I could go back there to explore the old city again!
