a green vest

Not long after reading this great post by Amisha i began this painting of Marthas green vest - i love this vest..the texture, colour and its shape..and the COLOUR!!!

and while i was painting i was thinking about repitition...it felt like i was 'knitting' this vest with paint...i painted each stitch..a meditation...i wondered off into another world for a few hours..

happy monday xxx

What I appreciate in your painting, is, that it is very detailed but didn't lose the character of a light watercolour. And it totally looks "wooly". That's great!Wwow!
