Once i used to paint a lot of paintings for childrens rooms...but apart from special orders i have stopped doing them, enjoying the 'grown-up' world more. I created this last week wondering if i should return to that niche in some way- as well as my other work... what do you think?

I love its simplicity and clean lines...

I took a look athe FlickR pictures:
What I like very much is the frog-story, because you have the pictures and the is a whole story around them.
I like the name-boxes a lot and this new doll-drawing is really wonderful!

I love the look of the pencil drawing on pink paper, I can see a whole series on the alphabet [heart the old boxes], but agree with lisa (you can always do both?) Adorable drawing.

Why not do both? I go through waves of wanting to create for young people, then create for adults. It is good to visit you again..been too long.

I think it's quite adorable. I always have loved type combined with imagery. I think you should give it a go, like tiel s-k said "WHY not do both ?"

What would I do in your shoes? Do what you love... what makes you smile as you work on a piece... what makes you happy for if it doesn't make you beam it isn't the right thing. Maybe you could find a way to combine what you love in each? Text, simplicity and clearness. Or have one feed and support the other?
Either way you look at it, it's an exciting path.
    take care, g xo
