im interested in the idea of a drawing or painting where a specific part of the picture is worked on more with detail and render..in contrast to the rest of the drawing which is more rough sketch...

oh julie! i love that look too. the important things are in the work and the rest is indicated some but left to the imagination of the viewer to complete. and i think the new look is so very much the feeling of you. beautiful.

Ooooo la la for sure!!!! look at this place..... crisp and fresh....I agree with the drawing. One side more detailed than the other. Go for it!! And the children below, yes, Fancy! I love it! What fun! Too bad I was not there!!!

Hey! Love the new look. Great!
I also like the idea where parts of something, a piece of work, is left almost unfinished.

Yes indeed, there is something so wonderful about half worked half loose drawings.

And speaking of work, I have been taking some pics of old work of mine to post so you can see more of our things in common. But probably won't do any of that till next week, things are pretty crazy busy round here which is why I prepared a bunch of jewellelry posts as drafts so I can whizz them off in seconds each day.

PS. lovin' the new layout of yours, and all your journal pages.
