poor shelly was home all week with a tummy virus..not so nice but we spent some time together in the studio playing with clay...i made a new pod and shelly created some small shapes which she will paint and turn into fridge magnets...today she went back to nursery...

i seem to have a lot of creative energy this last week and actually feel like locking myself in the studio for a couple of days...some peace and quiet, alone...oh well..
ive been creating tiles..a lot of them cracking in the oven...part of the process...

jewels lined up...(before varnishing)

our weekend starts this evening...hope yours is a good one. xxx

I love the pod, it's nice to be able to craft with children -Shelly is a little handmaid in progress (hope she is feeling much better). ♥ your new tiles, just enlarged the picture, the patterns are amazing!

when i get back to the states and star mosaicing again i will have to buy some tiles from you to use...even the cracked ones would look awesome in a mosaic.

    Hi Julie,
So nice getting your comments Re the berries, you'd be a good influence on me to stay away from the cakes. Yesterday was really difficult (with the dog) so I caved and ate a WHOLE family size tirimasu! I should have bought some blueberries instead. But it was yum yum yummy!

I'm enjoying dipping into your life too, all that sunshine and such similarities in what we like creatively. Have a great weekend.

We love, love, love the piece you very generously posted to Gracia and I. We have played around with where to hang it and are still deliberating... I'm sure you'll see a photo when we finally decide. Thanks again!
