About 7 years ago i took part in a project to create a book...a book of tehillim - the book of psalms. There are 150 psalms and the man who dream't up the idea found 150 artists...and gave each one a number relating to its psalm. We were given a size and asked to do a piece of art with our own interpretation of the psalm....

...this is my contribution and now the book is finally ready and an exhibition will be taking place in the north of Israel on 22nd March...where we will each receive a copy of the book and meet the other artists...how exciting..im going to be in print..

Its quite strange seeing this drawing after so long...and today, im sure i would have done the picture so differently...

    Ooh, printed you! Congratualtions.

That old guy is so sweet with his checked shirt and his checked trolley bag. Beautiful work. And your Journal, good for you. I start but get all precious when I make ugly marks and then I abandon.

But I do truly believe it's worth sticking with so I may one day, be inspired by you to just keep doing it. Though I suppose my blog has become my journal in some ways.
