A teapot was the subject for drawing today...i actually LOVE this part of the lesson - its so relaxing and I really enjoy the concentration and progression each week! This is Yuvals first drawing...

And then i asked her to do another one - it happens every week and every time she does a second drawing she notices more details - this is wonderful.. I think she did a fantastic drawing with the angle of the spout and the shadow.
We then went on to do some potato printing - we started some last week and continued today but again there wasnt enough time..Yuval drew some shapes on some potato halves and i cut them out for her. She really enjoyed mixing and playing with the paint. We experimented together and printed...

Then i asked her to make a picture from the stamps... she drew a tree and wanted to print flowers and leaves and butterflies...

Lots of fun!!

I love the drawings of the teapot, the second one is beautiful especially love its shape and shadow detail. Potato stamps are so much fun, how creative of her to draw a tree and stamp butterflies and leaves on it (love the rings on the bark too).
