Coloured water colour pencils...another favourite of mine - although im not so happy with this one. With any type of medium, I dont like the washed out watery look..i love to exagerate the colours and the intensity. With these pencils, i tend to draw in layers..starting with one colour and then moving over with another and another...slowly building up the picture...

colour pencils...i'm with you on the joys of this medium. my mum's art tutor got me into them & he works just like you, building up the layers. i think you'll look back at this in a few days & be happier. i think it's great! x

    hi ,
i had brought a set of water colour pencils as birthday gift for my mom some 4 yrs ago. She still hasnt found the time to explore using them. So i am now thinkin of using them and get her intersted to do something. she is someone i consider highly talented, but now we are grown up, i feel that she should find more time for her self... find new intersts or grow older ones. is there any online resources you could suggest on for starting off with water colour pencils?
