You see..this is another reason why i love this blog community. THANK YOU guys for your wonderful response and advice - its all really helpful!!!

Now for wip of the week..as i said, i am trying to explore this idea further - decay, erosion, layers, texture, time...

   I think you are on the right track. Lovely combinations of colours and textures. I did something like it and I aged it with coffee too.
