Like a lot of people, I have big notice boards where I pin up pictures and papers for reference and inspiration. Its great to have these images around while working. I change them around as I feel.
So I thought, why not create a 'mood board' every week on Mondays – to set the mood for the coming week. It also encourages me to collect new images together - in turn leading to new ideas…I think this piece even proves how I need to free up my work.

I created this using my scanner and Photoshop - Anyone else want to join in?

love it, great idea, I have a huge notice board too, all kinds of things end up on there, I wish I would change it around more often though, I also have a million scrapbooks that I make collage in and too many magazines I can't throw away!!!

    Your board looks so exquisite!
I thinks it's a great idea. I wonder... would it help me focus on certain projects or would it even more confuse me if I tried to pick the items for a board? Whenever I tidy up my place I get lost in all the long forgotten findings at the bottoms of piles and end up with various new ideas... It would be nice to have a collection of boards which represent different moods/projects.
