Inspiration #6 - Diana Marques

For Steph!

I love botanical illustrations and found this amazing artist through Paula (thank you).

Her name is Diana Marques and her work comes under the title of 'Scientific illustration'. Beautiful.. The sharpness and detail are amazing. And the strength of the colour...

I am going to spend the next few days sketching - great for relaxing and observation.

   I would have to say that botanical drawings are one of my favourite forms of art. Especially of fruit. So thanks for sharing those Julie. Your package is nearly done .....

   those botanical sketches are amazing and quite inspiring. i have always admired this type of case study but was never able to do it myself. this may be the motivation i need. than you for the inspiration.

   can't wait to se your sketches, love the illustrations! I fell in love with botanical illustrations whilst working in a museum, then fell in love with all the trays of specimins that had been collected, I wish I spent time drawing them back then!
