...not as yummy as kellys honey cake or as sweet as lisas beautiful cupcakes or as tasty as amishas banana bread or as golden as stephs cornmeal biscuits ... but they are waiting to go into the oven...

some more wall jewellery tiles drying in the sun

i was playing around with some clay and came up with this pod-form - this is after about 24 hours when it has dried out significantly - i LOVE carving the dry clay...for me its definitely the best part of the process...

and here she is sun bathing...

so very theraputic...
happy week to you :)

I seriously thought you were baking biscuits! Love your pod, it is gorgeous! Is it difficult to carve after it's dried? I'm glad you're getting back into using clay for artwork, you're so good with the medium...but then again, you can transform anything you use into beautiful art pieces :)

I feel like we have been separated at birth, I have ceramic pods too! I think there may be a picture of one in my old posts.

I think also pics of my metal ones on my flickr pages. Wouldn't it be fun if we could work together, out in the sun, making paper, clay, metal, fabric pods and jewellery (for walls and for hips).
