Do you remember this post? Well, this week i bought myself some yellow roses with the intention of drawing them...but it seems i wasnt quick enough and they died very quickly...



I did photograph them though and like the long lines of the stems and the decaying leaves, shapes and shadows...


And these are some of the recycled plastic bags on their way to Helle in Australia for crocheting...such a great idea!!!!

    the roses are beautiful, i like the progression from fresh to withering. and the yellow bags for helle are a great color, i have managed to find just one reddish one for her.

    this is a fantastic combination you show: those roses- real natural roses- which turn out to be fakes (not cultivated for a long life) with no possibility to live their rose-life...and...on the other hand something, we call rubbish that changes into beautiful artwork in the hand of somebody who recognizes its beauty.
    Save the idea of the poor roses in a drawing seems a good work!
