Instead of the beach, we planned breakfast in the park with friends...so three families packed up the childrens bikes and drove to Tel Aviv...

We picked up breakfast on the way from a lady who makes traditional Yemenite food in her home...

The weather was perfect and the park wasnt crowded..

this was my view for much of the afternoon...perfect :)

the kids had such a good time too!!

   you always do fun things on the weekend!
   the food looks good - you'll have to do a whole post devoted to food in Israel! I remember the young boys selling bread sticks covered with black sesame seeds near the bazaar in Jeruselum -so good!

   breakfast in the park sounds lovely. wonderful photos too julie. i am curious also about the yemenite food. we went to a gallery on friday where there was a whole series of seed pods and of course, i thought of you. xx

   It's great to go outside with you...seeing this wonderful stump and lots of pots I don't know, trying new food....
