roosters, polka dots and....trees!

The sun is out, the sky is blue and new work goes into my etsy shop...two seperate projects...

One, my first set of prints from original acrylic paintings..they were not really planned but strangely enough turned out to be a 'set'...trees...what a surprise!

And then theres the Rooster set...which began when we were in the zoo a couple of weeks ago.. and i loved the bright colours on these interesting looking birds... they are all originals painted on beautiful pieces of birchwood.

I had to smile when i saw Maditis post yesterday night...

i really enjoyed creating these and im already planning the next series...

   I love your tree prints, the patterns are so beautiful they can be turned into fabrics! The photo-realistic roosters are amazing too, with so much detail and gorgeous colours on whimsical polka dot backgrounds. Love love :)

   oh those roosters and the polka-dot backgrounds... i love them! (did i tell you that e used to raise chickens when he was a kid? :) ) and beautiful tree paintings. congratulations on this lovely new work!

   it is autumn here in the bottom half of the world, but we are enjoying the mild change as much as you are enjoying the warmer days no doubt.
