I love hanging pieces of art and crafts on the wall..the idea of dressing-up ones home...creating a unique space which represents ones personality...small jewels of drama and decoration..maybe theatre...

... this is how i came up with the idea of wall jewellery...

i have several ideas for pieces and love using this domestic oven fired clay...im enjoying the idea of texture and detail...and colour and the imperfect handmade look...

a line is in the making for my shop...

I think this is such an adorable and unique idea, a collection of them side by side would look fabulous! Perhaps you can consider pendants and keyring pieces too, the colours and patterns are beautiful on these.

you are very clever miss julie! i love the texture you have created. i´ve recently been interested in objects to hang on the wall that would provide a change in texture from painting and drawings...you´ve come up with a great solution!

julie, these are an amazing idea... i love the rich texture and the idea of an adornment for the wall that is different from what we usually choose to hang... beautiful! the colors and patterns are perfect.

These are great, I make wal jewelery too but mine forms part of a frame or sculpture so it goes on the wall when you don't wear yet. I also make jewellery for the 'wrong' places, like necklaces for your hips!

Your peices are great, so solid yet delicate with the pattern on them, I can see you developing this more and more and look forward to the results. Great to see new and different work.

And nice to have you over at my blog too :0)
