My week got off to not so nice a start with another nasty virus and 2 days in bed...we are pretty fed up of being sick and really would like spring to arrive very soon! So to encourage it along and to celebrate the sun coming out...today some colour...

joining in with callys gorgeous blue week

a visit to the nursery to get some new herbs for our balcony...
which is where is spotted these little pretties...

and this beautiful almond tree...

and some little tiles i was playing around with (lisa, the green/blue one for you to see :))

one of our neighbours has a tree and for some reason he has hung lots of yellow labels from its branches...i like this and wonder what is on the labels...

edit: thanks to Uschi, i now know that those yellow labels are sticky labels for little creatures who like to nibble at the fruit...still like the image of labels hanging from a tree!

Oh! I'm glad you are a bit better and able to post. Sorry for all the sickness but spring is here...soon...very soon...:)
Love the blue glass ball and all the flowers. Your tiles look very pretty and spring like...are you looking after the bubbles properly? :)
    A speedy recovery.

Thanks for joining in my blue week, that's a brilliant shot, so summery!

Sending you best wishes for some springtime and hope you're kickin' the ass of that virus (I swear by raw garlic and echinacea capsules).

And remember, if ever you are back over here come and visit Edinburgh and we can eat cake and look at ceramics.

I love where gardens and nurserys take me.... They make me yearn for the smell of water and dry earth mixed together....and moist soil on my hands....You must steal one of those tags and scan it for us.. oh pleasse!! You can always put it back?

no no it's no good idea to lend the yellow label: normally its sticky and a trap for bugs that try to eat your plant.....
I wish you a great healthy colourful day!

hu, sorry, the correct word is not "to lend" but "to borrow".

I just found your blog, it was a great read! On the subject of sticky labels a while back i found a british labels company who printed me some sticky labels for a really low price. If interested then it may be worth taking a look at their website as they did many types of label printing.
