Neve Tzedek

If I had a lot of money and I could choose where I wanted to live, I would choose Neve Tzedek - a little gem of an area between Tel-Aviv and Jaffa and by the beach. It has old, crumbling buildings and its full of artists!! There is a theatre and a wonderful Italian restaurant, several galleries and the narrow streets are just full of colour and texture!! The doors and windows are particularly wonderful. Today we walked round and soaked in the atmosphere!!

   Oh it IS beautiful. I might move too! Is it more expensive to live in that area than where you are now?

   I just love shutters on windows, just looking at those photo's make me feel the heat from the sun beating down. They are making me think of hoildays now.

   Julie, those shots are gorgeous and made me feel like I could feel the sun's heat reflecting off the buildings. Just the thing on a wintery Melbourne day on the other side of the world - thanks !! And who knows, one day you may live there.
